physical acting
'Before we know it, we're showing all kinds of non-verbal signs, that tell a completely different story!'

The main thing we learned at primary school, was how to sit still, listen to a superior and suppress our desire to play and have fun.
'We conform to the norm in society' We basically learned how to behave in public and as Actors that doesn't help us bring interesting work to the stage. The aim is to find our personal freedom within 'playing' back again. |
This workshop guides you from re-creation to creation, to get in 'the moment' and stay there!
Although we mostly think visual in our head, or in words, our body thinks in a completely different way. The technique works with the deeper layers of sensitivity and helps you to surprise yourself within your work, to grow towards professional freedom on stage.
Build trust and confidence, and work clear and clean as a performer through translating your internal dialogue between senses, emotions and feelings within a new mindset.
I work on a personal level in small groups, to be able to value your view and way of working. We discuss, do several exercises to connect our acting to our physical and true self, and find a congruent manner of non-verbal actions and the use of text. Physical expression and spontaneity as an actor and person grow.
